Australian PhD students
Includes New Zealanders, Australian Permanent Residents and graduates of the University of Melbourne with a first class degree.
We are interested in receiving applications from potential PhD students with degrees in chemical engineering, materials engineering, chemistry, physics, food science or a related discipline.
First, contact rrd@unimelb.edu.au (with your CV) to ensure that projects that match your interests are available. You then need to apply for admission to a PhD degree at the University of Melbourne and also for an research scholarship.
International PhD students
First, contact rrd@unimelb.edu.au (along with your CV, academic results, and the names of at least 2 referees) to ensure that projects that match your interests are available. You then need to apply for admission to a PhD degree at the University of Melbourne and also for a scholarship to cover both your fees and living expenses. Competition for these scholarships is intense so you will need a good first-class Honours degree or equivalent.
