Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering
Australian PhD students
Includes New Zealanders, Australian Permanent Residents and graduates of the University of Melbourne with a first class degree.
We are interested in receiving applications from potential PhD students with degrees in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, bioprocess engineering, chemistry, food science or a related discipline.
First, contact sgras@unimelb.edu.au (with your CV) to ensure that projects that match your interests are available. You then need to apply for admission to a PhD degree at the University of Melbourne and also for an research scholarship.
International PhD students
First, contact sgras@unimelb.edu.au (along with your CV, academic results, and the names of at least two referees) to ensure that projects that match your interests are available. You then need to apply for admission to a PhD degree at the University of Melbourne and also for a scholarship to cover both your fees and living expenses. Competition for these scholarships is intense so you will need a good first-class Honours degree or equivalent.
