Scholes Research Group
We undertake cutting-edge research and technology development in the quest to improve the sustainability of chemicals, energy and industrial processing.
We utilise fundamental molecular engineering to understand and manipulate molecular dynamics and interactions; this knowledge is exploited into developing novel chemical production and separation processes, which through applied research is transformed into technologies focused on sustainability in the energy and chemical sectors. We have a strong focus on working with industry partners to implement and commercialise these technologies. Our goal is to develop the transformative chemical technology of tomorrow.
We are from the Department of Chemical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and are located on the ground floor of the Department of Chemical Engineering.
